Advent-Daiden Equipment Partnership to Malaysian Distribution

Advent Technologies establish partnership with Daiden Equipment (Daiden), a leading power system & equipment supplier, to support the green energy transition in Malaysia.

In the words of Daiden Director, Mr. Ng Win-Wei “with the global emphasis on achieving net-zero emissions by 2050 to combat climate change and promotion of clean power generation sources, the diesel generator and internal combustion engines will slowly but surely be replaced by renewable and clean power generation alternatives such as fuel cells, solar panels, and wind turbines.

We believe that methanol-based fuel cells are the ideal solution for replacement of diesel engine driven power generators. Some reasons are that fuel cells that runs on methanol are low carbon emission, safer to handle than hydrogen and can be easily deployed to site.

Kim Abildgaard, Advent Technologies’ Sales and Business Development Director, Asia emphasizes that “Advent Technologies and Daiden will first and foremost demonstrate and develop the market for the Advent Serene “plug and play” fuel cell system with the telecom and utility operators in Malaysia. This could be complemented by technology collaboration and fuel cell integration into existing power systems and equipment in Daiden’s portfolio”.

Daiden was established in 1990 and head quartered in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. With a team of experienced engineers and technicians with vast knowledge in power generation, today Daiden has established itself as a leading power generation and equipment provider, with a strong portfolio of loyal customers in Malaysia. Daiden offering range includes power generators, vibratory pile drivers, water pumps, tower lights, welding sets, air compressors & etc.
